In rural and forest-based communities, Pravesh Utsav often goes unnoticed. Unlike urban schools, government schools here lack visibility, and many parents remain unaware of the value of education.

  • 1.17 million children are out of school in India (Lok Sabha, Dec 2024) . It is a stark reminder of the gap in access and opportunity.

Samanta educators took action:

  • Held discussions with teachers and students.

  • Planned a community awareness drive.

  • Students from Grades 3–5 performed nukkad natak highlighting the importance of education, especially for girls.

Street plays sparked change:

  • Performed in village centers.

  • Inspired parents to enrol their children.

  • Boosted children’s confidence and leadership.

  • Celebrated Grade 5 graduates across 30 schools with certificates. This motivated families and students to stay on the path of learning.

What’s next?

  • Regular PTMs, home visits, and school events.

  • More platforms to showcase student learning.

  • Stronger community ownership of education.

Change has begun with one street play, one child, one school at a time.
